FKM (French translation for Sound of cystic fibrosis) is a unique philanthropic concept that combines music and cystic fibrosis (CF) awareness.
Cystic fibrosis is a rare disease that is little known to the public. FKM concept is to associate awareness with musical events to give it a breath of fresh air and a human touch. The main objective is to raise essential funds for research and direct assistance to people with cystic fibrosis in Quebec and Canada.
Cystic fibrosis (CF) is the most common fatal disease affecting Canadian children and young adults (source: CF Canada) .
There is no cure to the disease.
